Terms & Conditions
These terms explain how EV Charger Install Melbourne's quote-matching service works, and the relationship between you and the independent licensed electricians introduced through the platform.

Version 2026-08-17
1. About this service
EV Charger Install Melbourne provides an independent information, quote-matching and referral service for Melbourne homeowners considering a home EV charger installation. By submitting an enquiry or using this website you agree to these terms.
2. Electricians, installation work and property damage
- EV Charger Install Melbourne provides quote-matching and referral services only. We do not provide, perform, supervise, direct or control electrical contracting or installation work of any kind.
- Electricians introduced through the platform operate their own independent businesses. They are not employees, agents, partners or representatives of EV Charger Install Melbourne merely because they participate in the network, and they have no authority to make commitments on our behalf.
- If you decide to proceed, you engage your chosen electrician directly. The installation agreement — including scope, price, workmanship, warranties, compliance certificates and performance — is between you and that electrician.
- The electrician you engage is responsible for carrying out their work safely and professionally and, subject to applicable law, for loss or damage arising from their acts, omissions or installation work. This can include, for example, damage to walls, ceilings, roofing, paving or driveways, landscaping, switchboards and electrical equipment, plumbing and cabling, or other property.
- We do not control the manner in which an electrician performs their work, and we are not responsible for an independent electrician's workmanship, site activities, or acts or omissions, except to the extent that liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
- Although we collect and review electrician licence/REC and insurance information as part of our approval process, you must independently confirm that your chosen electrician holds the appropriate current Victorian electrical registration/licence and current insurance before permitting any electrical work to commence.
3. Enquiries and how your details are shared
With your consent, your enquiry is shared with a maximum of three approved licensed electricians who cover your area — sometimes fewer. Those electricians may contact you directly to discuss your job or arrange an inspection. Requesting quotes is free and you are under no obligation to proceed with any quote. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
4. Information on this website
Guides, cost ranges, calculators and brand information on this website are general in nature and are not electrical, engineering, financial or legal advice. Your electrician's on-site assessment always takes precedence.
5. Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, remedy, guarantee, condition or warranty that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified, including under the Australian Consumer Law. Where liability can lawfully be limited, our liability to you is limited to re-supplying the quote-matching service or paying the cost of having it re-supplied. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
6. Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time; the version applying to your enquiry is the version recorded at the time you submitted it. Questions can be sent to quotes@evchargerinstallmelbourne.com.au. Electricians should also read the Electrician Network Terms.
